Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker is one of the main characters of the Star Wars movie saga, a Jedi Master and Grand Master of the New Jedi Order, the son of the Queen of Naboo Padmé Amidala Naberrie and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader), the twin brother of Leia Organa Solo, the last apprentice of Master Yoda. Luke and Leia were born in the medical center of the asteroid Polis Massa on the day the Galactic Empire was created. The mother died immediately after giving birth. After her death, family friends Jedi Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi decided to separate the children and hide them from their enemies. Luke was sent to the desert planet of Tatooine to stay with Anakin's half-brother Owen Lars. There, under the care of his guardians and Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke spent his childhood. In the year of the Battle of Yavin, two droids fell into his hands — C-3PO and R2-D2. The latter told him of his mission to find Obi-Wan Kenobi. After hearing the message, Obi-Wan went to help his friends and took Luke with him. On this dangerous journey, young Skywalker, guided by Kenobi and Yoda, learned how to use the Force and met members of the Rebellion, Han Solo, and his sister, Princess Leia Organa. Obi-Wan Kenobi encouraged the young man to join the rebel ranks. Once a member of the Rebel Alliance, he fought alongside Leia and Solo against the oppressive regime and participated in several battles against the Empire, with Darth Vader on its side. The Sith Lord had long been hunting Skywalker. Eventually Luke was trapped in Cloud City, where a duel between him and Vader took place. During the lightsaber battle, Anakin left his son without an arm and revealed the secret of his birth. Despite his injury, Skywalker managed to defeat his father. After the victory of the Rebellion, Luke built a new temple and a Jedi academy. But after the betrayal of his nephew and apprentice Ben Solo, who joined the Dark Side and destroyed the entire academy, Skywalker went into self-imposed exile. He later fell in love with Palpatine's personal agent Mara Jade, who later became an associate and then Luke's wife. In this marriage they had a son Ben.
