Shang-Chi

Shang-Chi is a Marvel Comics superhero with multiple martial arts skills, for which he is also nicknamed the "Kung Fu Master". He was born into the family of Xu Wenwu, leader of the terrorist organization Ten Rings, and Ying Li, defender of the Ta Lo village. After the murder of Ying Li by the "Iron Gang", his father decides to avenge his wife's death and begins to teach Shang-Chi martial arts. When Wenwu sends Sang-chi to perform the task, the hero is going to a rival gang leader at his 14th. However, he fails to accomplish the murder and leaves his sister Xialing with his father. He moves to San Francisco, where the man works as a simple hotel valet with his childhood friend Katie. After a while, he receives a letter from his sister, who asks Shang-chi to meet her. Arriving to see her, Shang-Chi falls into his father's trap — the cunning Wenwu puts them both under arrest. But they manage to escape and find Ta Lo, a hidden village. Here Shang-Chi learns from her aunt about the Dweller-in-Darkness, who can influence Wenwu's mind and convince him that Yin Ling is still alive. Subsequently, Shang-Chi confronts his father. But in the end, Wenwu sacrifices himself and gives Shang-Chi the magic rings with which he kills the Dweller-in-Darkness. Then the hero meets Wong. They investigate the technology of the rings in Sanctum Sanctorum.

Shang-Chi has most of his physical abilities thanks to the stem from his mastery of Qi. He can dodge machine guns and sniper rifles' bullets with his wristbands. Shang-Chi is well trained in the art of concentration and meditation. The hero is an expert in various hand weapons, including swords, sticks, nunchakus, and shuriken. The man is highly demanded as a teacher and mentor of kung fu as well as hand-to-hand combat for many characters. Among Shang-Chi's most prominent students and sparring partners are Captain America, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Domino.
