The King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh will host a PFL fight between Maroun Bellagui and Abdullah Al-Qahtani. The Saudi fighter was initially set to face Jordanian Abdelrahman Al-Hyasat, who defeated him by unanimous decision in September. However, that bout was canceled, and Moroccan Maroun Bellagui stepped in. Earlier this autumn, Bellagui lost to "The Egyptian Zombie" Islam Reda, with the referee awarding the decision after five three-minute rounds. The upcoming fight is the final of the promoter's championship in the 65.8 kg weight class.

The PFL fight between Maraoune Bellagouit and Abdullah Al-Qahtani will be streamed live on Megogo on November 29, 2024.

Known as "The Thief," Bellagouit made his professional MMA debut in June 2022 at the Arabic Ultimate Fighting Championship. However, his official career start is recognized as his appearance at Qadya MMA: The Qage due to questions about the legitimacy of the prior event. He began with five consecutive victories, three of which were first-round finishes, but a loss to Islam Reda broke his streak. Bellagouit debuted in the Professional Fighters League in May 2024, where he defeated Egyptian Mido Mohamed in Riyadh.

Abdullah Al-Qahtani has been competing in professional MMA since February 2017. He boasts a record of ten wins in twelve fights, including five by early stoppage. Nicknamed "The Reaper," Al-Qahtani joined PFL in the summer of 2023, securing four victories in five events. In the championship semifinals, he lost to Abdalrahman Al-Hyasat, who later withdrew from the final due to unexpected health issues. Similarly, Reda, who was also set to compete in the finals, sustained an injury despite advancing in the prior stage.
