The journey of a three-ton iguanodont named Aladar, who was woken up from his eggs by a tribe of lemurs and accidentally reunited with his own kind. Because of meteorite fire destroying the landscape and water shortages in reservoirs, endangered dinosaurs are in the race for survival, where their main enemy is time. Aladar is making an enemy in Crohn, a heartless leader, when he stands up for defenseless animals in the herd running headlong. Face to face with such hazards as sudden landslides and attacks of tyrannosaurs, Aladar and his new friends must overcome incredible hardships before finding a new home in a beautiful valley.
