The coldest town in France, Mute, is located on the border with Switzerland. In order to settle matters of inheritance, David Rousseau, a famous author of detective novels, arrives there. David is in a creative crisis. He has a prepayment from his publisher, but not the plot of the novel. Charming Candice Liquor was a particular attraction of the town.
