Young students huddle on a bench under the bright sun, holding their white canes and listening to the signs, which should help them to fold the puzzle of their existence. All of them are blind children and young people of a world renown specialized clinic in Lisbon. Ian, their new teacher on spatial orientation, wants to go beyond the traditional boundaries of learning and help them to explore their surroundings without feeling vulnerable or frightened. Ian quickly gains their trust, which prompts him to try to put them the tasks with a large element of risk. Using unconventional methods, he wants to stimulate their curiosity and imagination. When everything goes too far, the question arises - how realistic is the image of the world that Ian inspires to his students? And how honest Ian is with them?
