A musical comedy based on the novel by Alexei Tolstoy "Count Cagliostro". In 1780, Giuseppe Cagliostro arrived in Russia to represent nobility. Having stolen a young Maria Ivanovna under the pretext of treatment, the Count tries to make the maiden fall in love with him, but to no avail. In the provincial estate, where the travelers got by chance, lives a young man in love with a marble statue. With the help of Cagliostro he hopes to revive the marble, but the encounter with the living Masha changes everything.
