In the middle of the action there is a young female surgeon Meredith Grey, the daughter of a famous physician Ellis Grey. She works at the city hospital in Seattle, and her colleagues are junior physicians like her. Surgeons operate and fall in love, write sickness histories and have office romances, keep their medical secrets, struggle with complications in patients and in their own personal life. And often relationships with the opposite sex excite them nothing less than the question of acquisition of professional experience.
