In 2021, the forty-first season of the London Marathon is underway. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the event was moved from spring to fall. The race was held on the traditional route around St. James Park. The total distance of the race is forty-two kilometers and one hundred and ninety-five meters, and the finish line is in front of Buckingham Palace.
