The third event in the Figure Skating Grand Prix takes place in Turin, Italy, interestingly enough, this particular stage replaces the canceled China Cup. Prior to that, athletes had time to perform in the United States and Canada. All skaters who have reached the age of fifteen years and scored a certain number of points before were allowed to participate in the championships.
