Death of heroes, knights of truth and good, brings the Poet to the idea that evil is invincible. Getting tired of the struggle and loses, he lays down his arms. And then all his favourite heroes come to him and extinguish candles in a bowl of bear, meaning their renunciation. Only after seeing what misfortune and misery will bring his rejection to fight with the evil, the Poet takes up arms again.
