The Finnish city of Levi will host the first slalom stage of the World Cup alpine skiing variety. This race was organized for the first time in Levi not so long ago, in 2004. Both men and women are competing in the championship, and the favorites among the ladies are considered to be Mikaela Shiffrin and Marlies Schild.
