It is the beginning of the 20th century. The Carpathian region peasants do their best to vindicate claim for the aim of having their own spots of soil. The majority do not want to have the wind in their faces and leave for Siberia where there is a place for everyone. But it is not so easy to survive and succeed in the new difficult conditions.
