The new season of the World Motocross Championship is in its sixty-sixth edition, and in 2022 it started with an event in Great Britain. The new, already fifth, stage takes place in the Italian province of Trentino. Previously, riders competed in Portugal. In the MXGP direction, Jorge Prado and Tim Gajser distinguished themselves and in MX2 – Tim Vialle and Jago Geerts.
