The Tradition is part of one of the most famous professional golf tournaments, the PGA Tour Champions. The competition has been held in Birmingham since 1989, and the winner in 2021 was Alexander Cejka, who represented Germany. In 2022, the competition had a prize pool of two and a half million dollars.
