The year 2022 marks the fifth World Touring Car World Cup season. The first race was held in France at the Circuit Pau Ville. The new round of the championship is organized in Spain at the Motorland Aragon racing circuit. Prior to that, athletes performed in Hungary, where Ascona, Huff and Urrutia distinguished themselves.
