Boonmee is dying from a serious kidney disease. He is old and he resigned to his fate. The old man lives out his days in a village near relatives. He is visited by visions of the spirits of his dead wife and son, whom he had not seen for many years. Together with them, he goes on a mysterious journey into the depths of the rainforest, where he learned that his soul has undergone many reincarnations. He was destined to follow how his karmic path started.
