Ralph is a minor character from an 8-bit video game, who got sick of being in the shadow of the main hero, Felix, who is always there to “fix” the situation! After being a villain for thirty years, Ralph decides he no longer wants to be bad. He goes on a trip through arcade games of different genres to prove he can be a hero too. On his way Ralph meets different characters: the cold-blooded Sergeant Calhous of Hero’s Duty, who is protecting the planet from alien invaders, and a sweet-looking but sharp-tongued Vanellope von Schweetz, whose existence in the Sugar Rush racing simulator becomes at risk. Finally, Ralph has the chance to show that he can do something more that destroy things!
