Tomasz Beksiński moves into his own apartment, though he remains close to his parents and visits them often. After his first suicide attempt, his mother and father do everything they can to help him. Meanwhile, Zdzisław signs a contract with a French art dealer, and Tomasz begins working for Polish Radio. It seems as though the worst is over—but that is only an illusion.
