Shurik Kleimenov’s father is a skiing coach. Together they go to the competition. On close acquaintance with the world of sport Shura realizes that before this he was wrong when he thought that sport was unworthy sort of activity. When his father is in trouble because he has chosen a track where the skier has been injured, the son decides to stand up for his father and go through this difficult track without incident, in order to prove its suitability.
