The multi-day road cycling race, which was classified as category 2.1 on the UCI Europe Tour calendar, took place from February 18 to 19 and was the fifty-sixth edition of the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes. A total of sixteen teams took part in the race, with one hundred and eight riders on the start line.
