Het Nieuwsblad, the seventy-ninth season of the men's road cycling road race in the Flemish Region of Belgium, is underway. The race starts in Gent, and the finish is marked in Ninove. The total length of the route is just over two hundred kilometers (202, 2 km). More than one hundred and seventy riders are registered for participation.
