Winter. Nils ploughs snow in the wild winter mountains of Norway. He has been recently awarded a Citizen of the Year Award, and now receives news that his son died because of a heroin overdose. Refusing to believe in the truthfulness of the official version of his son’s death, he begins a secret investigation in order to find the murders. However, the following events unfold in unpredictable way, and he is forced to become a mysterious hero, inspiring the criminal world with fear.
