Rob Haley is a former chef and owner of the gourmet restaurant in London. After his wife dies in a car accident he throws everything and moves with his daughter in the hinterland. The star of television cookery and the owner of his own restaurant Gordon Ramsay visits Rob and persuades him to turn a local pub into an upscale restaurant. Rob gets down to business and soon people start talking about the dive bar. The famous food critic Kate arrives to taste the meal in the new restaurant and becomes very passionate about the cuisine. She falls in love with the restaurant and the cook.
