The Suleimanov family flees the war in Syria, and fate scatters them across Europe. Lazgin, along with his family, moves to Ukraine; Koshnav settles in Germany; the third brother ends up in Kurdish Iraq; and the last one remains in their homeland. The film follows the son of the first brother, who works as a volunteer and takes part in the war in Ukraine.
