The film is set in 1930, when Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a pilot working in the airmail service, takes a short route through a mountainous area with a friend and colleague. Shortly after his colleague Guillaumet goes missing, the hero sets off to search for his friend at night. This flight inspires him to write the book The Little Prince.
