The first season centers on the Harmon family, who move from Boston to Los Angeles to start a new life. They settle in an old restored mansion, not knowing that the previous owners haven’t found peace after death. The second season tells completely different story. The series revolve around a reporter, who arrives to a psychiatric hospital for criminally insane in order to make a report about a newcomer maniac Bloody Face, who kills random women. The third season tells about a coven, disguised as an elite boarding school for ‘gifted’ girls, that tries to protect the last representatives of their species. The fourth season centers on the circus of freaks in 1950. Events of the fifth season take place in a big abandoned hotel in central Los Angeles. The hotel hides many secrets in its walls.
