Fifteen minutes after the disaster struck Thailand, a tsunami hit eastern Sri Lanka. Although the coast is 1,700 kilometers from the epicenter, the waves raced at incredible speeds. The project recounts this 2004 catastrophe using stories from different people and previously unreleased archival materials.
