The “#ScamGoodbye” course is an educational initiative on payment security. The National Bank of Ukraine and CO “Kredobank Foundation” launched it in 2025.

The course helps anyone who wants to stay safe from online fraud. It suits teenagers, students, entrepreneurs, service members, and families of defenders. It also suits anyone who uses cards and online payments every day.

This is a free educational course on payment security. The National Bank of Ukraine created it together with CO “Kredobank Foundation”. Each video lecture runs up to 10 minutes. Experts explain the most common fraud schemes in plain language — from phone scams, phishing, and account hacking to fake investments, financial pyramids, scams impersonating state institutions, and attacks on entrepreneurs, service members, and their families. Each lecture offers practical advice on self-protection. Every lecture also includes real-life examples and a short quiz to reinforce the material.

The course includes 15 video lectures. They cover the following topics.

Season 1

• Financial phone number
• Social engineering and phone fraud
• Smartphone protection and the risks of public Wi-Fi networks
• Phishing: how to recognize fraudulent links and websites
• Rules for safe online shopping
• Account hacking
• Passwords and two-factor authentication
• Easy-money offers from scammers: how to avoid falling victim during a job search
• Portrait of a scammer

Season 2

• Investment fraud
• Financial pyramids
• Fraud impersonating state institutions and international organizations
• Fraud targeting entrepreneurs
• Payment security for families of defenders: how to recognize scammers’ traps
• Fraud schemes targeting service members

Course Instructors

Tetyana Mashlakovska — manager of the “#ScamGoodbye” information campaign at the National Bank of Ukraine. She has experience developing educational projects in financial literacy.

Solomiya Hovorukha — head of CO “Kredobank Foundation”, author of the “Courage to Be” project, and initiator of educational projects.
