On November 9, 2025, Japan will host the 11th edition of the Tour de France–sanctioned cycling criterium. The organizer, Amaury Sport, will hold a one-day race in Saitama Prefecture, where the world’s top riders will compete for victory in the men’s elite category. The Saitama Criterium is unique in that it awards classification jerseys, similar to those in multi-day races.
