Two New York City police officers are escorting a Yakuza member to Japan. In Osaka, the criminal escapes, leaving the partners in the middle of a brutal gang war. Nick and Charlie are forced to hunt for the gangster in a foreign city without knowing the language or the local rules. To bring him to justice, they team up with a Japanese detective named Matsumoto. The heroes enter a dangerous struggle with the mafia against the neon backdrop of the night city.
