A young Danish teacher named Anders decides to radically change his life and moves to a remote settlement in Greenland. Hoping to help local children, he instead encounters indifference from the Inuit community. Harsh nature and language barriers become serious challenges. To earn the residents’ respect, Anders must abandon familiar European norms and learn to live by the laws of the Arctic.
