Twenty-year-old Sofia lives in Casablanca within a conservative family. During a family dinner, she goes into labor, despite having hidden her pregnancy even from herself. Under Moroccan law, giving birth out of wedlock is a crime punishable by imprisonment. Doctors give her just 24 hours to find the child’s father and complete the necessary paperwork. Sofia and her cousin must take desperate measures in a world where social status and family honor outweigh the truth.
