The women's national teams will begin their competition on February 5, while the men's tournament kicks off on February 11 with a match between Slovakia and Finland. The games will be hosted at two arenas in Milan: PalaItalia and the rink at the Fiera Milano pavilion. Twelve national teams, divided into three groups, will participate in the men's tournament.
