Student Hana falls in love with a mysterious young man who turns out to be the last representative of an ancient race of werewolves. The couple has two children: elder daughter Yuki and younger son Ame. After the tragic death of her husband, Hana is left alone with the unusual toddlers. She decides to move to a remote village away from prying eyes and the bustle of the city. There, the protagonist tries to give the children the opportunity to choose their own life path independently. The brother and sister grow up, gradually realizing their dual nature.
