The 105th edition of the Volta a Catalunya is one of the most prestigious and oldest events in the world of professional cycling, surpassed in age only by the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia. In 2026, participants face an extreme challenge: over 7 days, riders will cover more than 1,000 km with an impressive total elevation gain of 20,000 meters. The route includes three decisive mountain stages, culminating in the return of the legendary Coll de Pal climb, which has not been used in the race since 1979. The final point will be set on the traditional circuits in Barcelona with the ascent of Montjuïc Hill.
