In a Latin American megacity isolated from the outside world by a massive wall and oppressed by a totalitarian regime, a young woman named Alba finds meaning in life by helping the poor through an underground network. Her noble mission is interrupted by a treacherous deception: an acquaintance named Lucre drags the heroine into a dangerous scheme involving the illegal crossing of the border. The forced escape beyond the limits of her hometown becomes a point of no return for Alba. Once outside the wall and surrounded by uncertainty, she discovers a completely different reality that overturns her destiny and forces her to see the world in a new way.
