In 1981, former sniper Bruno Brusicki is unwillingly drawn into a massive KGB conspiracy aimed at assassinating Pope John Paul II. The situation becomes even more complicated because Bruno must not only help organize the operation but also eliminate the hired assassin afterward in order to cover up the evidence. Finding himself at the center of deadly espionage games, the hero faces a severe internal conflict.
