Monster (2017) is a Scandinavian noir crime thriller and detective series created by directors Anne Sewitsky and Pål Jackman. Set in the harsh and remote north of Norway, the story begins when a young woman mysteriously disappears from an isolated religious community, while her boyfriend is found dead.

The high-profile investigation is assigned to local police inspector Hedda Hersoug, who has recently returned to her hometown. The leading roles are played by Amanda Award winner Ingvild Holthe Bygdnes and Berlin International Film Festival award recipient Jakob Oftebro. The series was created and primarily written by Anne Sewitsky and Hans Kristian Storrøsten.
