An orphaned boy named Kurmash lives with his cruel uncle in the Kazakh steppe. Defying the adults, he rescues and brings home a young wolf pup named Kokserek. A deep bond forms between them, but the harsh human world refuses to accept such a companion. Relentless hostility from the locals forces Kurmash to set the grown beast free into the wild. Years later, their paths cross once more—only now, his former pet has become the fearsome leader of a wild pack. The film is available to watch in UHD quality.
