Dr. Robert Laing moves to a new tower block, where there is everything for a good life. Having lived there for some time, he realizes that people are divided into classes. People of the middle class, rich and poor - they all live in a high-rise. Robert becomes the involuntary spectator of aggression and jealousy on the part of the tenants and, in addition, his new neighbors often draw him into strange and frightening events.
