Two incidental acquaintances, Sergey Pshenichny and Andrey Nemchinov, travel back in almost 40 years in the past due to mysterious circumstances. This day – May 8, 1949 – begins to constantly repeat for them. Each other the characters are given a chance: Andrey can prevent people in a ramshackle mine from dying, and Sergey needs to have a new look at his parents and begin to understand them.
