A choreographic ensemble “Virgin Spring” head to a tour to cities of the Volga. Being in love with Galina, the ensemble soloist, an optician Volodya didn’t manage to get to the steamship on which the artists were sailing away, because due to a special trip, they didn’t sell tickets for it. And then, Volodya gets a job of a cook in a galley, which was the only vacant position on the ship. A lot of adventures fell to a new nutrition worker’s lot. The group of women accepted him with pleasure and the beauty Nastya even fell in love with the young man a little bit and caused Galya’s jealousy.
