The series takes place two and a half years after the final events in the movie Sons of Anarchy. Ezekiel Reyes is the son of a famous proud Latin American family living on the border of Mexico and California. Upon returning from Stockton prison, Reyes prepares to join the ranks of the Mayan Motorcycle Club to avenge the drug cartel's head Galindo Miguel Castillo.
