The action takes place right after the death of Konstantin Chernenko, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Long ago Sergey Yeremin, who works at the editorial office, refused to publish his friend’s narrative that was improper at those times. But after the times have changed, he decides to remedy the situation, only the materials have been lost. There is nothing left for Sergey, but to see his friend despite past offences.
