It is based on the novel by J. Hadley Chase, “The whole world is in your pocket”. Getting into a dead end, movie characters decide to commit a daring crime. They believe that big money will bring them freedom and happiness. But the teasing fate is not so easy to trick – hopes become illusory, like a mirage in the desert.
