Iris works on an assembly line of a match factory. Monotonous work day after day, bleak streets of the Finnish town, dull family life, and loneliness. She is not the prettiest girl in the world, but she is young, full of expectations and, as a full-blown flower, is looking for a bit of sunshine for herself. But relations that turn into communication work with no one, and being a girl for one night insults Iris. Since she can not change herself, Iris decides to get rid of the sources of her grievances.
