The Second World War. China is occupied by the Japanese. Young student Wong under the guise of a traveling salesman’s wife is introduced by the underground in the inner circle of Mr. Yee - the police chief of the collaborationist government. Her mission is to attract Mr. Yee and take advantage of his trust to help underground movement defuse him. Yi is smart, careful and dedicated. In order to become really close to him, Wong has to converge Yee with every fiber of her soul becoming the only one, turning to Yi into the only way to save himself as a person.
