Many great rivers originate from the streams of mud and swamps. And then, they carry their waters overcoming obstacles, giving life to everyone who needs them, transforming everything around them, making the glory of the places where they occur, affecting all with their greatness and power, but by themselves they can not protect against all that they get. At the end of the path, even the mighty rivers disappear in the ocean. This film tells the story of one of the greatest singers of the twentieth century – Edith Piaf.
