1815. In the heart of Périgord, a young farmer Jacques lived with his parents happily until his father rebelled against the cruelty of the earl Nansaque and got arrested. Jacques was left an orphan in the care of a rural priest and vowed revenge once he becomes mature. It happened – after years Jacques will be at the head of a peasant uprising and meet Nansaque face-to-face.
